Holiday in Lights 2007 Entertainment Schedule

The Dickens Carolers
The Dickens Carolers are a local holiday tradition, bringing the joy of the season to thousands each year. Adorned in elegant Victorian dress, this a cappella quartet consists of two ladies in luxurious velvet and two gentlemen wearing handsome tailcoats and top hats. Your holiday favorites, both traditional and contemporary, are sung in beautiful four-part harmony. The sights and sounds of The Dickens Carolers are indeed a holiday treat.

Friday and Saturday three shows, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30
Sunday, two shows, 7:30 and 8:30

Scrooge
This playful puppet teases and taunts but always entertains! Poking his head from the window of Scrooge and Marley, the old codger rails guests with a barrage of "Bah Humbugs" and premonitions of coal-filled stockings. He target the most boisterous of passers-by and challenges all comers to a battle of insults (all in good fun, of course). By the end of the show, the crowd is unified in their cause for spreading Christmas cheer in spite of the curmudgeonly puppet!

Friday and Saturday, three "shows" 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45
Sunday through Thursday, two "shows" 6:45 and 7:45

Everett Green
Everett Green is our very own talking Holiday in Lights Christmas Tree. He's clever and quick and just a little sappy! Everett Green has been enlisted by Santa Claus to spread happiness, Christmas cheer and maybe a few pinecones.

Friday and Saturday, three appearances 7:15, 8:15 and 9:15
Sunday through Thursday, two appearances at 7:15 and 8:15

Kyle Meadows
Kyle Meadows began playing musical instruments at age five, starting with the piano. After working as a scientist, wallpaper dealer, potter, teacher and more, he realized he enjoyed playing music more than anything else and has been doing so full time for over fifteen years. Meadows plays mostly traditional Celtic and American music but can include some modern tunes as well, so the selections can range from eighteenth century Irish music to the Beatles. He has several recordings, most recently Hammered Dulcimer Solos, a collection of peaceful instrumental tunes, both traditional and modern.
